I recently had the privilege of speaking out against human trafficking on KFUO’s “His Time Morning Show” with host Randy Asburry.
I was glad to be able to talk a bit about the campaign launched by the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod and LIRS called End Human Trafficking Now! The campaign offers congregations and communities a broad range of tools to go after trafficking, including a brand new Human Trafficking Mythbuster that complements other educational videos, e-learning modules, and congregational resources.
We launched the campaign to help educate and mobilize Lutherans to make a difference in the fight to stop human trafficking, the third fastest-growing criminal industry. It impacts millions of people, including tens of thousands of immigrants, and reaches virtually every corner of the United States.
